Split PDF
Select pages, define ranges, cut into equal parts or build your own groups.
Quick start
- 1Choose a PDF. All pages appear as cards.
- 2Pick one of four modes at the top.
- 3Check the preview: colored cards show which page goes into which output file.
- 4Click the action button. If there are several files you get a ZIP.
Modes
| Mode | Result |
|---|---|
| Select pages | You tap pages. All selected pages become one new PDF. |
| Ranges | You enter page ranges. Each range becomes its own PDF. |
| Every N pages | The document is cut into equal parts of N pages each. |
| By groups | You create groups and assign pages to them. Each group becomes its own PDF. |
“Select pages” mode
Tap a card to select or deselect it. Use the quick selections to set many pages at once:
- All: selects every page.
- Odd: selects pages 1, 3, 5 …
- Even: selects pages 2, 4, 6 …
- Invert: selects everything that was not selected before, handy for “everything except …”.
- None: clears the selection.
“Ranges” mode
Separate several entries with a comma. A hyphen forms a range, a hyphen without an end runs to the last page.
1-3, 5, 8-
| Input | Meaning |
|---|---|
5 | Page 5 only |
2-4 | Pages 2 to 4 |
8- | Page 8 to the last page |
“By groups” mode
- 1Pick a group from the bar, e.g. “Group 1”.
- 2Tap the pages that belong to it. The cards take on the group’s color.
- 3Use “Add group” to create more groups and “Remove group” to delete one.
- 4Pages not assigned to any group are not exported.
Output
If the split produces exactly one file, you download the PDF directly. With several files they are bundled into a ZIP. Each file gets a descriptive name that states the pages it contains.
